Sheridan Park Improvement Project - Community Outreach

The Community Services Department hosted a Community Outreach & Engagement Event for the Sheridan Park Improvement Project. The outreach took place at Sheridan Park from Tuesday, March 26 – Thursday, March 28 and Monday, April 1, from 2- 7pm (hours did vary). The focus of this outreach process was to engage the neighbors and park goers by asking them to vote on the playground’s themed design. We showcased two designs from two vendors that the Park and Recreation Commission recommended moving forward for the community engagement. This process was highly supported by the neighbors of Sheridan Park.  During this outreach process we provided informational material in both English and Spanish to reach as many neighbors as we could for this project.
