The City of Corona encompasses approximately 40 square miles and serves as a strategic nexus to major counties throughout Southern California (Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino), with convenient access to the SR-91 and I-15 and two major airports within 25 minutes’ drive time. Corona has a vibrant, culturally diverse population of approximately 170,000 residents and more than 12,000 businesses.  The City has a rich heritage of citrus fields, historic homes, and automotive races around Grand Boulevard, an impressive circular street encompassing the Downtown. Corona has emerged as an ethnically diverse community, where a significant percentage of the population is made up of young, well-educated families.

The Corona community boasts a variety of cultural, recreational, and educational opportunities that provide a first-rate quality of life for its residents, businesses and visitors. The City has more than 394 acres of parks, with sports fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, tennis courts, two skateparks and an outdoor pool.
